  Love this church! This church has such a welcoming congregation. They really mean it when they say "open hearts, open minds". All are welcome and the opportunities to get involved are never in short supply. From mission volunteer opportunities, adult study programs, to youth group services, there is something for everyone at First Methodist! Not to mention the different worship times available to meet the needs of those who need more than one option to worship on Sunday mornings. I highly recommend visiting and getting involved in the life of this church for an opportunity to grow along with it. 5 stars from me!

  This is a great church with great people! Lives are being touch and changed! The outreach of this church is phenomenal, from the mission projects serving those in need, to outstanding children and youth programs! This church serves God by serving others. Volunteers freely give their time, obviously building the Kingdom of God. Worship is alive and meaningful, with great music! The contemporary service led by the youth is fantastic! Preaching is Biblical, uplifting, challenging, and even entertaining! Invite your friends! You're gonna want to go again and again! Check out their website!!

  Our family visits FUMC, yet we've always felt very at-home and welcomed. There are several service times, which is nice. This church is large enough to offer lots of activities & small enough to feel like you don't get lost in the shuffle.

  FUMC of Slidell is doing great things for our community! They have a Feed Dat Program that distributes food - no questions asked - to anyone in need. Some members work within our prison system to help inmates. Many members participate in local missions when we have disasters near us and some members even travel abroad to spread the love of god.
  Join us any morning for coffee and fellowship between services.
